Office Assistant
About the role:
We are looking for an Office Assistant to support the team with all of the admin and office needs, which means there is a huge range of tasks that you will undertake. Therefore, it is a great opportunity to expand your skillset and business knowledge.
This is a part-time position for 8-16 hours per week.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Welcome Visitors to the office.
- Taking and delivering messages.
- Scanning, photocopying and filing documents.
- Arranging for meetings by reserving rooms and securing refreshments
- Maintaining office equipment like copiers and fax machines for smooth office functionality
- Conducting research and compiling data upon request
- Managing office supplies, including refreshments
- Opening, sorting and distributing mail.
- Creating, editing and updating spreadsheets
- Light accounting duties
- Lead on preparing and acknowledgment of company/employee anniversaries – birthdays, length of service, religious and annual events.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy including MS Office
- Experience working in an office environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to use own initiative.
