About the role: 

 

We are looking for an experienced Scheme manager to join our company to support and focus on the expansion of our multiple schemes in the decarbonisation, energy efficiency and construction sector.

The Scheme Manager will be managing our government grant funding schemes in Kent and East Sussex.

At present, we have joint SLA’s with grant funded schemes, such as HUG (Home upgrade grant), SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund), ECO4 (Energy Company Obligation) and many more.

Therefore, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate their existing skills, knowledge and team management experience - preferable in the energy efficiency / decarbonisation sector, with a proven strategic approach combined with good people management skills.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

    • Reporting to our National Scheme Manager to lead, grow and develop team capabilities of working in a fast-paced environment within our current and future schemes.
    • Implement scheme compliant processes, procedures and documentation.
    • To liaise closely with key partnerships, including energy company representatives
    • Manage the submission of all funded measures, liaising with the retrofit assessors, retrofit designers and coordinators ensuring the customer receives the correct measures to meet the criteria within the funding parameters.
    • Provide cover at schemes where directed by your line manager, ensuring there is on-site presence at schemes in line with customer expectations, being available for customers who wish to speak to a Scheme Manager, undertaking routine activities, including welfare checks, reporting repairs for/on behalf of residents, as necessary
    • To identify and understand any changes made to scheme guidance that may impact the business, and to advise on any steps required to comply.
    • To manage and deliver the compliant funded projects and ensure that all funding submissions and evidence meet scheme requirements.
    • Prepare and present monthly progress reports.
    • Follow IZ Energy policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
    • When not required to provide support to senior management with specific challenges as directed by your line manager or other senior colleagues.
    • Be able to travel to various locations across London.
What we are looking for: 

 

    • Experience and knowledge of construction industry.  
    • 1-2 years’ experience providing scheme management support to clients and customers. 
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and targets.
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Experience with conducting, reports, repairs, flagging and resolving issues?
    • An effective communicator with the ability to develop professional relationships with internal and external customers.
